| Randy Frost has been a quilt artist since 1975. A native of New Jersey, she presently works and lives in Bronxville, NY. She is a graduate of the R. I. School of Design (Graphic Design). Her career has taken her from commercial art to painting, collage, printmaking and now fiber, a medium she has used for a lifetime. She has taught painting and quiltmaking to children and adults, and currently works as an artist-in-residence in schools and community supported facilities. Ms. Frost's quilts are in corporate and private collections, and the American Craft Museum. It has been seen in exhibitions and solo shows throughout the US, in Europe and Japan. It has appeared in magazines and newspapers, including The New York Times, and she has appeared on cable TV discussing her work. Among the awards she has received is the President's award for excellence in education from Concordia College, Bronxville, NY |
