“Explorations in Fiber: New Work by the Art Quilt Network” was first exhibited at Concourse Gallery, Columbus, OH. August 29 to Sept 23, 2005.
For almost 20 years, members of the Art Quilt Network have crafted innovative designs far removed from the traditional quilt patterns of the 19th century. The 34 quilts in the exhibit represented a mix of images, often referencing fine-art movements. Below is a sampling of the quilts from the exhibit.
